Dr. Haitham AL-ani

Associate Professor

Dr. Haitham Alani received his B.Sc. degree in Software Engineering from Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Amman, Jordan, in 2009, and his M.Sc. degree in Information, Computer, and Network Security from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) in 2012. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2017. In September 2018, he joined the Department of Computer Engineering at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT), Amman, Jordan, where he currently serves as an Associate Professor. He holds several professional certifications, including Certified Red Team Professional (CRTP) from Pentester Academy, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Network Defender (CND), and Certified Academic Instructor (CAI) from EC-Council.Dr. Alani has contributed to the design, organization, and delivery of advanced information security training programs for members of the Jordanian Army. His research interests include Penetration Testing, Reverse Engineering, Digital Forensics, Wireless Security, Malware Analysis, and Blockchain Technologies. He has been actively involved in curriculum development since the establishment of the program and is currently responsible for teaching core courses in Network and Information Security within the Computer Engineering Department at PSUT.
