Dr. Samer El Kababji has a multidisciplinary background spanning engineering, data science, and healthcare. He earned his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Western Ontario and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the CHEO Research Institute/University of Ottawa – Faculty of Medicine. A licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada, he has also held senior managerial positions across various industries, combining leadership and practical experience with academic research. His academic interests include generative AI models, synthetic data for health research, and AI in engineering systems. Beyond his academic work, he is personally interested in epistemology, particularly how humans develop knowledge.
