A team from King Talal School of Business Technology at Princess Sumaya University for Technology has won first place in the local round of Uniway creative business competition. The team has qualified for the Regional Cup competition organized by Unilever, to be held in Egypt.
The winning team included students from the Business Analysis Club: Yasmin Sabbara, Sally Zabalawi, and Nour Al-Taher, under the supervision of Dr. Nour Damer.
PSUT president Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija valued the achievement of the winning team and indicated that the students’ participation in such local and international competitions is a reflection of the academic courses and knowledge gained during their undergraduate studies, hence meeting the labor market requirements and the latest industry developments.
Prof. Abu Elhaija pointed that this achievement is a result of the collaboration and direct connection between PSUT and the industry, in addition to the successful identification of labor market needs and the latest developments in business technology.
For his part, the Dean of King Talal School of Business Technology, Dr. George Sammour, expressed his pride in the students and their persistence to be in the lead of such local and international competitions. Dr. Sammour pointed that PSUT team will represent Jordan in the regional stage, aka Uniway Regional Cup Competition, which will be held in Egypt early next May. It is worth mentioning that PSUT team ranked first among more than 48 teams from other Jordanian universities.
