As part of its efforts to help high school students make informed academic choices that align with labor market needs, the Deanship of Admissions and Registration at Princess Sumaya University for Technology organized the 2025 “What Do You Want to Major in” event, held under the patronage of University President Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija. The event aimed to introduce students and their families to the university’s programs and admission requirements.
University President Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, Vice President Prof. Bassam Hammo, Dean of Admissions and Registration Dr. Muhanna Muhanna, members of the university’s Council of Deans, and heads of academic departments met with prospective students and their families to hear their views on choosing the university and their preferred majors.
Dr. Muhanna Muhanna said that the “What Do You Want to Major in” event is held every year to strengthen the university’s connection with the local community and to help students choose a major that suits their future plans.
He added that the Deanship of Admissions and Registration supports students from the time they consider joining the university until they graduate and move on to work or start their own businesses.
The event also featured stations for each of the university’s schools, where faculty members and students gave an overview of the academic programs, student services, clubs, and activities available at the university. This year’s event drew strong participation from high school students and families from both the local and regional communities.
