Acting President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, on Tuesday met with Chile Ambassador to Jordan, Jorge Alejandro Tagle Canelo
The meeting covered ways to enhance cooperation between the university and Chilean universities on entrepreneurship, cybersecurity, and sustainability in education and business.
She highlighted the university's achievements since its establishment and the level it reached among international universities.
Abu Elhaija added that all university's faculties have obtained international accreditations, noting that some of its students have won first positions in international programming competitions, in addition to the success stories of its students in various international companies and organizations.
She underlined the university's keenness to achieve the visions of Her Highness Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of its Board of Trustees, in promoting international networking and cooperation with international universities on joint scientific and research fields.
The Chilean envoy expressed his admiration of the the university's approach and its rapid and distinguished development in all fields, which constitute to a start point of future cooperation between the university and Chilean universities, within the ongoing endeavor to develop relations between the two countries.
