Student exchange

PSUT has cooperation agreements with numerous international universities according to which student exchange programs are implemented (Erasmus Student Exchange Program). These programs allow students to study abroad in partner universities in Europe and Asia, and aim to provide opportunities for students to increase their knowledge and hone their experiences while they receive academic and practical training. They also enable students to share the history, culture and traditions of these countries and strengthen cooperation frameworks with partner universities.

PSUT’s student exchange program gives the opportunity to study abroad in international universities for a period of one or two semesters. The university has several agreements with the most prestigious universities in Europe and Asia, such as Cardiff University (UK), Hasselt University (Belgium) and Barcelona University (Spain). The opportunity is open to all students to participate in student exchange programs according to the conditions announced each semester by the university's International Relations Office. Some of these opportunities are fully funded.

Joint programs

PSUT offers joint cooperation programs, having signed agreements with some of the world's most prestigious universities. The agreements focus on partnership in academic programs, granting academic certificates, and continuing graduate studies, in line with the university's goals in promoting scientific research and contributing to sustainable development in the Kingdom. Through these programs, PSUT's undergraduate students can study one of the agreed-upon programs, and obtain two certificates, one from each university.

PSUT has signed cooperation agreements with Indiana University Bloomington (IU-Bloomington), University of Oakland (OU), and University of Michigan-Dearborn (UMD) of the USA, allowing students to study joint majors in engineering, computer sciences and business.

PSUT’s partnership programs are among the small number of such outstanding partnerships in the region. They provide students with a golden opportunity to continue their studies in the most prestigious universities in the world, while taking advantage of the discount (approximately 43% or sometimes more) offered to PSUT students. Such programs lead to the shortening of the time period needed to obtain a Master's degree. Students can study at the partner university for a period of one or two semesters during any stage of study, including the PhD.
