A student team from Princess Sumaya University for Technology won first place in Jordan and fourth in the MENA region in the IMA Student Case Competition 2025. The annual competition is organized by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and included 106 teams from 100 universities across the region.
University President Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija praised the students and their supervisors for their strong performance. She highlighted their efforts, skills, and active role in promoting the university in Jordan, the region, and beyond.
Prof. Abu Elhaija said that this achievement reflects the quality of education at the university and highlights its role in helping students compete globally. She added that this achievement also reflects the vision of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, to place the university among the world’s leading universities.
Dr. George Sammour, Dean of the King Talal School of Business Technology, said the winning team earned their positions after a tough competition that showed the high skill and excellence of the university’s students. He added that the final stage took place in Saudi Arabia in partnership with the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA).
