Student Affairs

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Princess Sumaya University for Technology and the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs organized a workshop on "Student Party Activities System" in the presence of a number of university students.
The Secretary General of the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Ali Al-Khawaldeh, confirmed that the system for practicing student partisan activities in higher education institutions may bring about some change regarding empowering the youth politically to ensure a successful partisan experience.
Dr. Al-Khawaldeh also gave a detailed explanation about the system, introduced the electoral process, and encouraged student to participate in the elections of student councils, unions, associations, and clubs organized by the Higher Education Institution.
It is noteworthy that the members of the university's temporary student council were chosen upon a recommendation from the university's deans’ council after the official elections had been suspended due to the procedures followed during the Corona pandemic. This confirms students’ important and effective role of representing their fellow students, and communicating their academic and service problems and contributing to solving them. The students’ council is a bridge of communication between the university administration and students who are contributors to the process of excellence and development of the university.
