Administrative Affairs

The Administrative Department was established in 2006, following the University’s administrative and financial separation from the Royal Scientific Society. Since then, it has assumed its pivotal role within the University’s administrative structure by overseeing a wide range of services that support the educational process and enhance the campus environment, serving as a core pillar of the organizational structure and a primary provider of operational services.

The Administrative Department is considered one of the vital departments at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT). It bears comprehensive responsibility for delivering integrated operational and administrative services aimed at supporting the quality of the university environment and enhancing institutional performance efficiency.

Main Activity and Objective
To provide advanced and sustainable services that efficiently serve the university community through the development of procedures, the adoption of the latest technologies, and the improvement of infrastructure quality and operational services, thereby enhancing the overall university experience.

Duties and Services
 The responsibilities of the Administrative Department encompass a broad range of services, including:

  1. Facilities and Infrastructure Management: Implementing routine and emergency maintenance for buildings and equipment, and overseeing development and renovation projects.

  2. Security and Safety: Providing protection and security services for the campus, managing emergency plans, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

  3. Transportation and Mobility: Organizing university transportation services, traffic flow, and parking facilities to ensure smooth movement within and outside the campus.

  4. Sustainability and Environment: Maintaining green spaces, carrying out landscaping activities, promoting a culture of sustainability, rationalizing energy and water consumption, and managing waste.

  5. Operational and Logistical Services: Managing facility cleaning services and providing logistical support for university events and conferences.

  6. Quality and Continuous Improvement: Developing systems and policies to enhance operational performance and beneficiary satisfaction.
