The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) has appointed Dr. George Sammour, the Dean of King Talal School of Business Technology at PSUT, as a member of its Middle East and North Africa Advisory Council (MENAAC). The renowned AACSB, the world's oldest accreditation body for business schools, aims to ensure education quality.
Dr. Sammour received an international certificate from AACSB as a business school programs reviewer. This recognition is a result of his involvement in global expert committees tasked with reviewing and accrediting business schools around the world. AACSB conducts a thorough assessment of business programs and specializations. This evaluation involves forming expert teams with experienced scholars, focusing on curriculum content, faculty quality, student benefits, available resources, and university support for program development and scientific research enhancement.
Notably, the Business School has earned international AACSB accreditation, placing it among the 2% of universities globally outside the United States of America and less than 6% worldwide. Moreover, it proudly holds the distinction of being the first Jordanian university to attain this esteemed accreditation. It is noteworthy that obtaining AACSB accreditation reflects years of collaborative effort and determination from the dedicated faculty and staff of the college.
