Princess Sumaya University for Technology has signed a cooperation agreement with Markazia Group, the official dealer of Toyota, Lexus, Hino, King Long, Yamaha, Budget Car Rental, and Petronas Lubricants in Jordan. The agreement aims to develop innovative energy solutions and offer training and employment opportunities for students and fresh graduates. The agreement also supports efforts to strengthen collaboration between universities and the private sector.
The agreement was signed by the President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, and by Yousef Al-Hasan, Director of Human Resources at Markazia Group. The signing ceremony was attended by the university’s Vice President, Prof. Bassam Hammo, members of the Deans’ Council, several directors, and representatives from Markazia Group.
Prof. Abu Elhaija said that this cooperation supports the university’s efforts to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship by helping students provide practical technology-based solutions that support sustainable development and meet the needs of local and regional markets.
She added that the university values working closely with the industrial sector, as it helps students gain skills, improve their abilities, and explore new opportunities in research, development, and employment.
Al-Hasan said he was proud to partner with Princess Sumaya University for Technology, a leading academic institution, and stressed that Markazia Group is committed to supporting young talent and promoting innovation.
Nadim Haddad, CEO of Markazia Group, highlighted the importance of the agreement, saying it reflects the company’s belief in empowering Jordanian youth to turn their ideas into sustainable technology solutions. He added that it also provides practical experience and supports efforts to tackle energy and environmental challenges.
