President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, welcomed the Ambassador of Rwanda to Jordan, Urujeni Bakuramutsa, during her visit to the university. They discussed opportunities for collaboration between the university and Rwandan universities in various technological fields.
The meeting was attended by Vice President Prof. Bassam Hammo, several deans, directors, and the Executive Assistant to the Ambassador, Shami Ngarambe.
Prof. Abu Elhaija highlighted the university’s achievements, including its innovative programs in computer science, engineering, and business technology, and emphasized the support of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, in fostering a generation skilled in technology to achieve sustainable development goals.
Ambassador Bakuramutsa praised the university’s academic and research level and expressed interest in student and faculty exchanges, as well as research partnerships between the university and Rwandan universities, to build technological skills and strengthen relations between the two countries. The meeting concluded with an agreement to strengthen future cooperation.
