The President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, inaugurated ‘Karam Bazaar’ that was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs. The bazaar, which lasted for three days on the university campus, aimed to support women and youth of the local community and people with disabilities.

During her tour in the bazaar with the deans and administrative directors of the university, Dr. Abu Elhaija had a look at the products that included crafts, handicrafts, accessories, and folkloric and traditional foods. The president was happy with the cooperation with community institutions as it complements the university’s role in community service, and contributes to providing the necessary assistance to develop capacities and skills. It also opens horizons for cooperation and solidarity between the academic sector and community institutions.
