Through the courses it offers, the Unit seeks to foster students’ personal development and enhance their skills by integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application. This educational approach equips students with the foundational knowledge and essential competencies needed to excel across a wide range of academic and professional fields.
The Unit is committed to preserving and promoting national and cultural identity in the face of knowledge-based competition and the challenges of globalization. It also places special emphasis on the Arabic language, familiarizing students with the nation's literary and civilizational heritage, as well as contemporary Arab issues, which are examined through a balanced, objective, and academic approach. At the same time, the Unit seeks to foster a spirit of tolerance and respect for pluralism and diversity within the framework of national unity, while reinforcing commitment to the highest human values. To strike a balance between preserving authentic national values, embracing cultural diversity, and developing effective tools for intercultural dialogue, the Unit focuses on equipping students with fundamental linguistic competencies in English and other foreign languages. It also promotes critical thinking by integrating theoretical frameworks of critical thinking with drama skills, thereby supporting students' sustainable personal and professional development.
In pursuit of the Unit's vision and the realization of its objectives, the study plan offers courses in leadership and social responsibility, media and digital literacy, life skills, entrepreneurship, and innovation. These courses aim to cultivate student leaders and empower them to engage critically and responsibly with the inputs of the digital age. This integrated approach aspires to achieve academic excellence by harnessing young people's potential in entrepreneurship and innovation, creating promising employment opportunities, and moving students beyond the passive acquisition of theoretical knowledge toward productive, practical learning. Ultimately, this ensures the preparation of graduates who are capable of assuming responsibility and contributing effectively to the advancement of their communities at the local, regional, and international levels.
