Dr Tareq AL-BALDAWI received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical engineering / communications and electronics section on 1973 from the University of Baghdad , and graduated as the top student in the faculty of engineering . He worked at the same university as teaching and laboratory assistant from 1973 to 1975. Then he left the university and started his higher studies in 1975 at the University of Montpellier for Science and Technology II in France , where he got his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electronic Engineering on 1977 and 1980 respectively with honor degree. His field of research was to design a very low noise Avalanche Photodiodes used as optical detectors in the Optical communication system, this work was joined research with the French National Center for Telecommunicatios studies ( CNET) at Paris. In 1980 Dr Tareq joined the University of Technology in Baghdad and worked as assistant and associate professor, and appointed as the head of the School of Control and Systems Engineering from 1990 to 1996.During the academic year 1998/1999, he joined Saddam University and appointed as head of the Bio-medical Engineering department. In September 1999 , Dr Tareq joined the Electrical Engineering department at the Applied Science Private University , where he worked for 19 years , and was the head of department of Electrical Engineering for two years. In September 2019, Dr Tareq joined the Universiyu of Princess Sumaya for Technology as Associate Professor in Electronic Engineering. His area of research interest are the electronic circuits design with operational amplifiers and and Analog Integrated circuits , Optical detectors , switched capacitor filter design .He is member of the editorial board of the ( Journal of Technical and Vocational Education ), published by the technical teachers training institute ( ttti ) in Medras , India .
