PSUT wins first place and takes a number of gold medals at Jordanian Universities Jiu-jitsu Championship


Princess Sumaya University for Technology organized and participated in the Jordanian Universities Jiu-jitsu Championship which was contested by players from nine universities at Prince Rashid Hall in Al Hussein Sport City.

The following PSUT students achieved the following results:

Hamza Haitham Al-Rasheed, won first place, the gold medal and winner’s cup in the 77 kg weight category.

 Sameh Abu Ragheb took first place, the gold medal and the winner’s cup in the 94 kg category. Abdul Rahman Abu Rumaila won second place and the silver medal in the 85 kg weight category.  Saleh Saifan ranked second and took the silver medal in the open weight category.

The tournament was judged by qualified referees of the Jordan Jiu-Jitsu Federation.

This tournament is the first of its kind to be held at Jordanian university level and PSUT has the honor of being the first Jordanian university to organize it.

On this occasion, President of PSUT Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai congratulated these distinguished students on their great achievement. He also congratulated the University's family on this remarkable achievement, which contributes to the University's record of outstanding achievements, and he promised continued support for all outstanding, creative students.
