Princess Sumaya University for Technology and Education for Employment - Jordan have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at providing training services to university students, both on and off campus, and providing suitable job opportunities for them after their graduation. The MoU was signed by PSUT President, Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai and Mrs. Ghadeer Al-Khuffash, CEO of EFE.
Under the memorandum, PSUT will be granted free subscription for 450 students on the global online Accenture training platform, to help them develop their life capabilities and the skills needed to enter the labor market.
Prof. Al-Refai expressed his great pleasure at this cooperation, praising the vital role of the institution in supporting Jordanian youth and enabling them to prepare for and join the labor market, indicating that PSUT lends every possible support to this endeavor.
Mrs. Al-Khuffash said: “EFE is proud of its partnership with the University, and of the support it gives to preparing students to enter the labor market.” She emphasized that the MoU constitutes an important step for students to avoid the obstacles of searching for a job, and contribute to helping them enhance their skills and abilities.
It is worth noting that Education for Employment-Jordan has been building a partnership with PSUT’s Office of Careers Guidance and Alumni Affairs for several years. EFE is a locally registered non-profit organization, and leads a national initiative to create job opportunities for Jordanian youth seeking work by providing professional, technical and administrative training programs. At the same time, it seeks to meet the needs of employers with trained personnel.
