To express its appreciation for its outstanding, innovative graduates, and in accordance with the vision of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of the University's Board of Trustees, of focusing on learning outcomes and highlighting the achievements of the University's graduates, President Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai presented honors to a graduate of 2009, Evelyn Al-Zoubi.
Al-Refai expressed his pleasure and pride in the University's graduates, calling them ambassadors for PSUT both at home and abroad. He asserted that they had proven their excellence and proficiency at the international level. The University has a record full of outstanding achievements which have placed it firmly in the forefront among Jordanian universities and brought it high status on the international scene. He went on to thank the Committee for Honoring Innovative and Creative Students and Dr. Abdul Ghafoor for following up with the University's exceptional graduates and students.
Evelyn Al-Zoubi talked about her professional career which started with her graduation from the University with a degree in Management Information Systems. She then gained over 8 years of experience as a businesswoman at the healm of SaaS Products, involved in mobile devices and the Internet of Things. She founded Pearl Labs which oversees the life cycle of a product from the concept to its launch. She also set up E-Closet.me in Silicon Valley which analyzes consumer behavior and provides various technology products.
Currently, Evelyn Al-Zoubi is serving as Product Manager at Walmart Labs, specializing in e-marketing. She is a graduate of the TechWomen program and featured in the Silicon Valley Business Journal after giving the best product presentation on Trial Product Day in 2013.
