For the second consecutive year, the Deanship of Admissions and Registration at Princess Sumaya University for Technology has organized, through sound and vision communication technology, the interactive forum: “Which specialization should you choose?” to introduce high school students to the University's majors, and its admission and registration requirements.
In the opening speech, PSUT’s president, Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai, congratulated the students for completing the high school stage and expressed his pride in the excellent standards achieved by the University during the years since it was founded in 1991. Since that time, PSUT has succeeded in introducing some unique specializations at the regional level, under the directives of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of the University's Board of Trustees, and her keenness on becoming globally competitive.
Al-Refai stressed the importance of the role of youth in shaping the future, reviewing the highlights of the University’s success story. He mentioned how all of PSUT’s Schools have obtained American accreditation from ABET and AACSB, which helps students wishing to study in American and European universities in the future. He also talked about the most prominent achievements of PSUT students and their excellence in international and local competitions in the fields of technology, engineering, business and extracurricular activities.
The four-day event was attended by faculty members from the Schools, who provided a summary of the study programs and answered the questions and inquiries posed by students and their parents.
