The President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai, received a delegation representing a number of Jordanian universities to develop a common vision for an alliance in the field of full university e-learning, and to design distance education academic programs. The meeting was arranged under the supervision of the international company, Higher Education Partners, represented by Dr. David Watts and Harris Pastides.
The participants discussed the legal and logistical requirements that must be met by the coalition for the success of the experiment within the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Accreditation Commission in the field of education and e-learning.
The meeting was attended by Vice President of PSUT for Scientific Research and Development, Dr. Ghaith Al-Rabadi, the Director of the e-Learning Center, Dr. Adiy Tweissi, Vice President of JUST, Prof. Mohammed Al-Abini, and Assistant President of Jadara University for International Relations and Projects, Dr. Bilal Zaqiba. Also in attendance was Dr. Mo'taz Abdul Aziz Al-Hami from the Hashemite University, Dr. Noah Al-Hindawi from the Ministry of Higher Education, the Director of JUST’s e-Learning Center, Dr. Muhammad Al-Samadi, and from the HEAC, Prof. Zaid Al-Anbar.
