A two-day workshop on digital forensics investigations was held at Princess Sumaya University for Technology. It centered on the science of verifying human identity by analyzing the vital components of the body. The event is part of the FORC project funded by the European Erasmus + project.
The workshop, which was attended by representatives of various security services, institutions, government departments, and local community institutions, was led by PRA Lab team leader Dr. Gian Luca Marcialis and expert Mr. Roberto Casula from Cagliari University, Italy, which is a participant in the project.
It is worth noting that, within the activities of the FORC project, the University has established a laboratory equipped with the latest hardware and software related to digital forensics investigations, which is the first of its kind in the Kingdom.
