The President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai, met with a delegation of students from the Palestinian American Youth Civic Engagement (PAYCE) program. The delegation was made up of students from Palestinian and American universities who are part of the PAYCE organization which aims to strengthen the culture of dialogue among young people, and help them to reach positions of leadership.
PSUT President, Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai opened the meeting by welcoming the visiting students and their representatives, Dr. Mohammad Sawalha and Dr. Darcie Vandegrift from Drake University in the USA. Prof. Al-Refai gave a presentation which focused on the University's progress, its unique achievements in programming, and its international partnerships in the fields of Engineering, Computer Science, and Business Administration.
Prof. Al-Refai highlighted the University's endeavors to encourage a culture of dialogue among young people worldwide and to build international partnerships aimed at helping the youth to reach positions of leadership.
Dr. Sawalha and Dr. Darcie expressed their appreciation to Princess Sumaya University for Technology, and their pride in the prestigious status it has achieved. They also praised the excellence of the University’s students and expressed their thanks for PSUT’s kindness in hosting the program on campus.
