Sunday, December 20, 2020 - 23:30

The activities of Academic Advising Week at Princess Sumaya University for Technology, organized by the Deanship of Admissions and Registration, have got underway via visual communication technology. The aim is to give advice to the students prior to the final exams and the start of registration for the second semester of the academic year 2020/2021, presented in a methodical manner consistent with the standards of quality and local and international accreditation.

The Week includes a meeting of the President of the University with academically outstanding students, the transmission of guidelines for schedule plans in the second semester, the regulations for transferring between specializations, and an open meeting with the Dean and the admission and registration officers to answer any questions raised by students.

In turn, the Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Abdul Ghafoor Al-Saidi, said that this activity is in line with the directives of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of the University's Board of Trustees, to focus on excellence, and comes within PSUT’s efforts to provide the environment and conditions conducive to excellence, honoring outstanding students, and motivating those who are having difficulty.

Al-Saidi indicated that PSUT's uniqueness in this activity, which has become an annual tradition, is in line with quality standards, as the University coordinates its efforts with wide and varied expertise at the global level, in particular the National Academic Advising Association," NACADA".
