PSUT’s Accounting Department, founded in 2010, offers students a Bachelor's degree in Accounting following a unique program that seeks to differentiate itself from the traditional Accounting programs offered by many universities by focusing on IT applications in all aspects of Accounting and Computer Auditing. This program is part of the ambitious plan adopted by Princess Sumaya University for Technology to achieve its mission regarding scientific research, the development of curricula, and the introduction of new programs based on the integration of technology in different fields of knowledge. The primary goal is to prepare qualified graduates in the field of Accounting and Auditing who are capable of keeping pace with economic development thus contributing to securing the human resource demands of institutions at both the local and regional levels with graduates who are highly proficient the various duties of accounting. PSUT offers advanced curricula and educational programs which compare favorably to those found at international levels. In its taught courses, the Department implements the latest equipment, knowledge and advanced communication developments, benefiting from the latest theories and techniques put forward in the information age.

The Accounting Department also offers its students and graduates the chance to gain professional qualifications such as:

1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

2. Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

The Department aims to give students a complete knowledge of both theoretical and applied aspects of Accounting, and to develop their capabilities in addition to giving them a strong presence and participation on the local, Arab and global arenas.
