Application Process


*The application process to be completed 2 months prior to the Module One

Entry Qualifications

  • Those applicants whose medium of instruction for their first degree was not English will be required to provide evidence of language ability in the form of a minimum TOEFL (600 paper/CB 250 /IB 100) or IELTS (7.0) score.

The admissions requirements for all applicants to the Lancaster MBA are:

  • a good first degree a copy of degree certificate or transcript to accompany application) .

  • at least three years' full-time professional work experience, normally after graduation.

  • two good references, usually from current employer and someone who can comment on academic ability.

  • a CV and clear personal statement for pursuing the MBA.

In addition, if applicant’s degree is not from a recognized UK university, applicant’s will need to:

  •  achieve a GMAT score of 600.

  • Where it is not possible for a candidate to undertake GMAT, a candidate may be offered the opportunity, at the discretion of the Admissions Director, to submit an entrance essay.

  • Note that use of the entrance essay in place of GMAT will be used for entry to the first Cohort of the Global MBA in Jordan.  For subsequent cohorts it will only be used as an exception and candidates will be expected to have completed GMAT.

  


 

English Qualifications

If applicant’s first language is not English or the first degree was not taught in English, applicant’s will need to:

  • demonstrate a good understanding of written and spoken English and be able to write and speak English fluently.  Those applicants whose medium of instruction for their first degree was not English will be required to provide evidence of language ability, normally in the form of a minimum TOEFL (580 paper/CB 237 /IB 92) or IELTS (7.0) score.
